I found these last year and while going through the box of stuff i thought i would try and get an I.D. on them. The knife i found in a highly CW relic area. It looks like it folds and has a place on the blade to use your thumb to fold it back up. It was 15 feet from where i found 13 Gardeners and other mainly Union bullets and buttons.
Its dimensions are:
7 1/2" long total
Handle: 1 3/8" widest point
Handle: 4 1/8" long
Brass piece: 7/8" long
Blade: 1 1/16" widest point
The other thing was found at another location where we were finding mainly Confederate stuff, Enfields, Gardeners, .54 cal Gardeners, lots of Flat buttons. It has 5 knobs coming off it and i don't think its made of lead, it seems to hard. Maybe pot metal but its still very heavy like its made of lead?
Its dimensions are:
2 5/8" Long
1 5/8" Wide
1/8" Thick
Any ideas would be great thanks,
Ryan.
