A little video from yesterdays cornfield hunt and todays hunt combined
Was totally bored out of my skull today, the wife had zero on the honey-do list so I hit the old grove again with Will's permission of course (thanks again Will) this spot is insane, its been pounded for a few years by many and still is coughing up the goods! Started slow, with the usual pulltabs and junk then got a nice high tone and popped a 2 wheat spill, I thought ok, lets slow it down a bit more, kept gridding along and my etrac was screaming nickel signal as if it was on the surface or huge and low and behold it was on the surface, a toasted buffalo nickel!, gridded along and got a few clad and 3 more wheats, then got a real iffy/choppy dime signal with some low tones mixed in with it, popped about a 6" plug and got a nice blackened 1928 merc!
that made my day, I was very happy to squeeze another silver from this spot, and owe Will bigtime!, cant wait to get the guy on some killer old farm sites to get that first LC!

thanks for looking and hh!!
