The hand bottle says to me somebody back then had a sense of humor!

Think about it & let your mind roll off the curb! :tongue3::laughing7::tongue3:

Nice finds, sunrunner! I love that second bottle, the MD USA quart. I wonder if it's from Maryland or if it's a 'medical department' bottle, like those old 'hospital department' bottles.

Hey, good finds. The 1915 Coke is cool, hope it cleans up fine. I also like the St. Martinville Evangeline sauce

I like the hand bottle nice decor

The hand bottle is for holywater or oil

"Charles H. Oestreich patented his design for a hand-shaped bottle on November 3, 1931. It has been found in both clear crystal glass and frosted crystal. The middle finger of the hand is also the opening of the bottle and was originally fitted with a screw cap. [Illustration]" --Albert Christian Revi, AMERICAN PRESSED GLASS AND FIGURE BOTTLES, 1970.

The illustration shows three diamond embossments on a band around the base of the bottle (on the back of the hand side only).

Nice finds. I have never seen anything like the hand bottle before.
