Cool

Takin' it to bed with Ya I See :coffee2:

I like your cat. ;D

You're going to love it for sure.

You need to get a screen cover for it.....not the slide on cover but the one that sticks to it as the screen will scratch up quickly.

Then get yourself an aluminum arm cuff......well worth it and way more comfortable than the factor cuff.

Then wrap that foam handle with tennis racket grip from WalMart. Not the one with holes but the smooth one. The foam handle gets dirty and is tough to clean so putting the tennis racket handle wrap on it will make clean up a lot easier and makes the handle way more comfortable.

You need a better headphone than the one that comes with it. That will be up to you as far as which one is best. I use Sony Studio standards and are really comfortable and don't sweat up in the summer like the factory ones do.

Then a smaller coil, a larger coil and finally a couple of sets of rechargeable NIMH batteries.

Good luck with it and enjoy :icon_sunny: Hope the weather turns good soon too

Thanks everyone!! Jeff- yeah my apt. is so small (thanks to the super huge cost of living here in the "big city") that my bed takes up almost all the room (and I was up last night until 3 am assembling the detector and starting to read the manual; can't take it outside yet as the battery is still charging). Smudge- Shams (Sunshine) says "meow" (kitty Arabic for "thanks" :tongue3:). Despite her cuteness and intelligence, she didn't help AT ALL with the set up/assembly... ::) . Oh, and LEE VAN CLEEF IS 100% BAD ASS!! ;D I got a set of Gray Ghost NDTs from Mike @ Woodland detector sales (GREAT DEALER by the way....get your Minelab stuff from him!!). Now I need the tennis racket grip wrap, a screen protector, and an aluminum arm cuff (factory cuff is too deep and scrapes the inside of my elbow a bit). Members have suggested sporting goods stores or Wal Mart for the tennis racket grip wrap, but where can I get a protective cover/film for the screen and control box? Also where do I get the aluminum arm cuff, and how much does it cost? Thanks for the help!!

beautiful :) im suprised your cat doesnt seem interested in checking out the new toy or whats in the box! my cats would be all over that stuff. :)

I used the film that is for the Cell phones / I pods . There is a package that is universal and you can cut to fit. Worked great for me.

Believe me, she was all over it as soon as I took it out of the box. I gave her the outer (UPS) box just so she'd have something to play with, and I didn't have to worry about getting kitty hair all over my new detector...or having to push somebody's nose out of the way to reach something... ::) :tongue3:

 Gotta love it!!!

Yep good suggestion on the stick on screen protectors!, thats the first thing I did to mine, then went on the slip over rain and dust protectors!.....heck I even wash mine up here and there to keep it purdy!...almost thought about waxing the pretty shafts too...lol....sorry can you tell I love my E-Trac? :laughing7:
