I have been picking up stuff at local auction houses and recently one of them auctioned off an entire estate. I picked up a literal truckload of computer and electronic stuff. Most of if because I had an interest on it, but some because nobody had bid on it. The big one in that category was 4 new old stock RCA Dish Network setups including receiver, dish and remote. I got them all for $1. They are 15 years old and of no interest, but I am hoping to at least be able to flip the remotes.
I had really good luck with a bunch of NOS computer parts. I sold a half dozen 3 1/2 inch floppy drives for at least $30 each as well as a couple Soundblaster sound cards. I still have 5 or 6 new hard drives to get rid of but shipping is a pain on them. I have more than paid off my cost and everything else I sell will be pure profit. Anyone need old obsolete computer parts? I got 'em.
