Greetings,
I thought I would share some pics of the snail fossils I found on a recent trip to South Dakota. It was found on private property with permission to collect. It was organized by a rock shop.
Even though snail fossils are common they are one of my favorite fossils to collect from that site because they tend to be more whole.
I saw plenty of various bone fragments that I did not keep, probably mostly oreodont.
Here is a pic of the ancient river bed we were searching.
