Gold I assume is very well kept an eye out for at the big thrift stores these days as I hardly ever see it anymore, so this item must of slipped the jewelry sorters eye. Its a little vintage ladies rose color wristwatch and I noticed first the 14K on the little hearing bone bracelet clasp. No mark on the case back, but I was 99% sure it be gold also. Sure enough the 14K mark is indeed on the inside and stripped of the movement and crystal it is 9 grams of 14k gold. I believe the crown might be solid gold also as it is spot on the same rose color of the case and bracelet. The watch is signed Cortebert a Swiss brand that's been around for some time. I see no value in the non-running watch in its intirety. It's all in the gold the way I see it.

Nice. Any gold-backed timepiece is worth careful examination. Also, never let a crummy watchband discourage you from looking at the watch case. It's common for actual gold or platinum watches to have a replacement band in rolled gold or as gold-filled.

Nice going :)
