hey all, I'm new here because I wanted to seek advice about 2 strange objects I found around 10 years ago. I found these objects near Lincoln, England with a cheap metal detector from a toy store. when I first found them I didn't think much of them, and neither did my parents so I stored them in a safe place and whilst tidying my room today I stumbled upon them again. 20150611_201721.webp 20150611_201523.webp20150611_201709.webp

They look like lead or tin toys (Any ideas of metal), probably 1800's until the first half of the 20th century. I like that some of the red paint is still there too. Pretty nice finds in my opinion.

I belive they are made of lead, that's what I remember my dad saying anyway :D. Thank you though, do you have any idea if they have any value at all?

Do the figures show a distinct mold mark all around them? Also do they have any writing on the underbellies? If you could send a front on picture, and a picture from underneath, I might be able to help you more.

French Chasseurs from the early 1800's is who I would guess them to be. The bugler's colors were reversed from the rest of the troops. -I'd just be guessing at when they were made, early-mid 20th century?
