I went hunting yesterday and found some nice items including an 1895 Barber which I posted yesterday. But my wife found something else this morning from yesterdays hunt that I didnt know I had, and I was just wondering if this is considered a metal detecting find. My wife actually made the find and she wasnt even with me yesterday. Does she get the credit for the find. Ya'll let me know.

Hate those little heat seeking critters. Did she use a match on it?

I've got a blister on my back the size of a quarter, and the little $#@&*%$ still wouldnt let go :protest: . #9 Kleins did the trick.

Thats pretty good. ;D If it would have been any lower , it would have been real "romantick"

On a serious note, everyone should know that to help prevent Lyme Disease (and related infections) you should use tweezers and simply pull the tick off. You should NEVER use a flame, fingernail polish, or other similar method of removal; there is a greater chance the tick will spit out additional Lyme-causing bacteria. Unfortunately, I know about Lyme Disease from experience--every member of my immediate family has battled it over the past five years. I would not wish it on anyone. Stay safe everyone!

I have had tick fever TWICE. I buy bug spray by the case now. Them ticks aint got good in 'em anywhere. I hate 'em but I keep relic hunting so I will probably get it again. I aint real brite, according to my wife...d2
