Well the first find maybe either a votive axe/hammer or just junk it's 3.5 cm long. The second find is obviously a button,not sure though if military or not.

Something for scale please?

Just looking at your little rock hammer evokes the stark grey stone facade, and tense strains of melancholic music by a string section.

Hello plehbah ,pray for redemption !. As for scale its 1 and 1/8th of an inch long.

Cheers Jason, it does,apart from it's size about half as long as a cigarette.

I'm going to guess not Votive on the hammer as the patination doesn't look ancient.

The button I believe is circa 1840 Livery. The crown is the give away. If you can read the motto, its probably a very generic one & not related to any military regiment.
