Sounding the alarm

Me and the dogs walked through the prairie dog town out in the open space. This one was sounding off to all the others of our presents in the area. I have read that the prairie dog has a different sounding bark for the various threats in their area. They will make various sounds that differ from a bird of prey is in the area to bark meaning a coyote is around and another saying there's a snake near by.
