South Georgia Point Identification

1 1/2 by 5/8 Stuart County Georgia field find. Not 100% sure what type this is, The base has light grinding.... opinions as always are welcome.

The base doesn't look concave enough to be a Tallahassee, then again what do I know.

Tallahassee's are serrated, Santa Fe's are not. Otherwise, the ages overlap and style is the same.

It could also be a Suwannee, also a Jeff (never heard of that type till here recently). This was found further south that where the Jeff style is said to be found.

Hey Mike , I did a more exhaustive search,, information from the Page Ladison site, close to the border, it’s a mammoth kill site....there’s 3 types of Suwannee points. I rule out beaver lake...dooont think, union side notch, something keeps pulling me towards a Suwannee, maybe this helps,This hobby ain’t black and white, is it,?

After further consideration, your find may be too thick to be a Santa Fe. Suwannee seems to be a better fit between the two. Not familiar with Jeff. I'll have to bone up on that one.

Distribution of the Jeff does not extend into southern Georgia although it could be an outlier. Is the base ground on your find?? If so, another piece of evidence supporting a Suwannee.
