Went back down to Antero again yesterday and walked all the south shore of the lake and part of the west. That was a hike but easy walking on flat ground. Much better weather. Up in Middle Park today at Wolford Mtn. Res. and the Colorado River. Lake may look low, but all our reservoirs are being drawn down in anticipation of spring runoff.

Cool Pictures! A small round cactus, I always keep an eye out for them. There doesn't seem to be too many around. You see more of the flat variety.
 

Nice looking weather in the clean air for sure.
 

That’s interesting about the water, I have hiked around those hills on the Southwest of Antero. I have always wanted to hike in to some of those dry lakes around there. It sure is peaceful country.
 

You may have cooler temps and shorter spring/summer seasons, but the scenery makes up for it! Beautiful!
