Southwest Colorado Ghost Towns

I'm moving to Durango, Colorado in September. Since I'll be semi-retired, I need a hobby! This one sounds like fun and looks like I'll be living in a cool area for it. Anyone do any relic hunting in this area? What machine do you use? Any cool finds?

Hello, While I'm not from that area, you should have luck hunting there. It's all about research and then make a plan and work it. Gary Speck writes a monthly column in W&E Treasures about ghost towns that you might find interest in. I'd recommend a machine with a manual ground balance. Good luck, Eric
