Sovereign GT meter

I'm looking for a meter for my Sovereign GT, and noticed 1 dealer lists it as "Minelab Digital Meter" and 2 of the dealers list it as " Minelab Recalibrated Digital Meter". Does anyone know why it's call "Recalibrated" in two of the ads? Are these, factory refurbished, or older models brought up to current specs? Thanks

You're right. A friend emailed me that they are meters that have been reclibrated to the new 200 standard.

Check this link out. Joe Patrick made the best meter ever for the Sovereign series, the Patriot meter. He has designed a new meter that fits inside the Sovereign, replacing the internal speaker.

Those are nice. I had considered his speaker replacement meter, but as my GT is new, I didn't want to void the warranty. The meters you have sure look a lot better than the one Minelab makes. Thanks for the link.
