Sovereign XS2a Question

On Sovereign XS2 a, I was told that if a certain chip goes out on the machine, Minelab does not stock the chips for repair anymore. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not. I would like to buy one used but dont want to get into a problem with repair if it need be. Thanks Folks.

I have heard the same thing, but you can always call the Vegas shop and ask just to be sure.
