Got a 108 mini balls from a Spanish American/WWI military camp today. I am not sure if the pistol bullets go with the SA stuff or WWI stuff. Could use some help on that. I think the clip things are from WWI gun clips as every one of them was next to 1 or 2 shells. And not sure what the 3 fuses go to or which period. No idea what round thing next to shrapnel is. Shrapnel was in hole with the one fuse. Round domed thing is threaded and may have been gold plated at one time. Had fun hunting the camp with Rich. Also did a short hunt with PA digger and got 52 clad coins. I want to put the SA stuff in a shadow box. The WWI bullets are not that interesting. Just want to make sure I got stuff separated right.

Nice digs. That's a lot of digging.

The clips are stripper clips, they generally hold 5 shells and are used to quickly load a rifle. These are probably for the Springfield and WWI era. Nice finds.

Nice digs . Thanks for sharing the hunt and the pictures

I love the impacted bullets best. Just makes me picture the soldiers 100+ years ago handling them and then shooting them. It really makes you realize how recent those wars really are to us in history.

that mustve been one heavy finds pouch with all that lead!, man that's great!!
