I found this button, and was told it was a Spanish Calvary button. I'm looking for more specifics, age, date range, is it a war relic?

How did you search it out on the Waterbury website?

I found the button & number on another metal detecting site.

They also thought it was a Spanish cavalry button.

Here's a link to the site. From there it is just a matter of searching the different categories. In your instance go to fashion/flags and your button is on the top row. There is also another button similar to yours on the same row.
