Was found about 10 inches down under large tree root, was doing the happy dance same spot where I found gold ring and 1865 ih few days ago!!!! My first silver Spanish coin , it's about size of a modern nickle

If you can't find a date, at least you can narrow down the window. I believe a one real coin with the bust of Carolus IIII (the one you have) should be dated in the 1791-1808 window. MacKaydon is the authority on this forum, though, and I hope he'll correct me if I'm mistaken!
