Spartanburg Dist. 1&2 Schools & Properties
It appears that hunting schools and property in our area is a no no.I asked about this because I wanted to hunt an old school site.The issue is people roaming around and possibly hurting or kidnapping a student.Staff has been told to call the police if anyone is spotted on school grounds.The schools that my children attend in dist.1 have phones in the classrooms with the local PD set at number one on the speed dial.They were trying to ban public from using the old field and track area at the old Chapman high school(now it's Mabry Middle school).I don't know if that was succsessful,but I haven't seen many people there in the past few years since the school has reopened as Mabry Middle School.
