went to a local park for an hour today found 63 cents in clad and what I thought was part of a cigar canister but looking at it later I think it's a ring

Yep aluminum ring, you can buy them from those candy dispenser machines that sell candy or peanuts or toys in plastic balls at grocery stores or pizza restaurants.
