🏆 Honorable Mentions:

Detector(s) used
XP Deus II v0.6 with 11" Coil
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Windy but pretty mild & dry, so a good 5 hour grid.
Just when we thought the silver wasn't coming, Cru'dad got it with 15 minutes to spare. With Land-Mag's coins, this Site has now broke 100 bronzes.
Based on our scouting missions we think we have covered 90% of the scatter, but we will know next time.

32 Roman Bronze Coins - 1 nice one
3 Bits of Roman Brooches
Bit of a Roman Bracelet
Top of a Roman Bell
Celtic Brooch
Medieval Buckle
Roman Silver Denarius of Sep. Sev. circa 200 AD

A very productive day in difficult field conditions. More to come when we can get the coil nearer the soil ! :occasion14:

Cru'dad is still researching the reverse type.

PS. You got the Sol bit right, I confused the whip for either a wing or a shield which sent me down the wrong roads.

Yes, as they now do Spring Drilling, so we have more over Winter options.

Yes, something close to that.

UPDATE ID:

Here is Cru'dads ID on the Roman silver:

''The coin is a SOL (P MTRP VI COS II) RIC 117 AD 198. What looked like a wing was in fact the Upright and curves of the Whip that SOL holds.''
