Sports pin, returnable?

I went to a tot lot after work and found a sports pin and a couple clad coins. I am thinking about taking the pin up to the local grocery market and see if they will let me post the pin as a lost and found? The picture on it is pretty bad, but that kid's mom might want it Or should I trash it?

Give it a shot. It may be a very sentimental piece that the family will cherish. If its just junk and nobody wants it, at least you tried.
