Spots of historical interest jacksonville fl

Hi

I have hit a major block with my research. I am not able to find any exact spots of historical interest...I mean where they would be today.

does anyone have any hints or tips on finding where these old places would be today??

we need to meet -- 2nd tuesday of nov 2008 -- 630 ish pm at picadilly on monument road along side the regency mall --nov metal detector club meet starts at 7 pm but I be buzy during the meet -- so before or after the meeting I can chat a bit with you --as the club "historian" I'm the got to guy for historical info and if I don't know it off the top of my head -- I know how to find it out via research -- ---Ivan
