Had a thought today. A lot of you probably already do this but I was wondering how well a large spray bottle ( Like a Windex bottle ) filled with water would work for cleaning dirt off of coins/relics in the field. I would leave it at the truck, which I am never to far from. I dehydrate know from spitting on stuff. LOL
 

I just put it in the bag and look at home.. if it look special goes in my pants pocket.. more fun to wait till you got the proper light and magnification.
 

Airscapes - That's exactly what I do, and for the same reason. It just eats me up till I can get home and check everything out. This is how I prolong my detecting experience. HH ! !
 

Yes, that works, or carry a smaller water throwaway water bottle in a cargo pocket for just that purpose. I dig so little silver that I can mostly wait till I get home to clean them under the sink.
