Spring Break Detecting

I am going to be traveling through Tennessee and Mississippi the second week of March. Planning on stopping in Tupelo, Mississippi on Friday March 10, Saturday March 11th. Does anyone live in this area? Or does anyone here know of someone that would be willing to take a fellow detectorist out to a Civil War area to detect? Any help would be appreciated.
