These are some of the better finds from my last three hunts. They all came from the same "hunted out" area where my hunting buddies and I have been doing well. If there are any experts on spurs on the forum or know of a good site to research them, please let me know. Thanks for looking and HH.

Wow, you had a great few hunts, definately not hunted out.

That one button, the one on picture number 7? on the right, i have seen a number through treasurenets history. Interesting indeed, they seem to show up all over the place. Although rare, i like to see how some buttons show up more than others. (I should mention, they may not be "EXACTLY" the same. Although the design is obviously copycat. So an era or design of buttonmakers.)

Very awsome finds. Cool spur.

Very nice relics. I was in Huntsville yesterday to visit my daughters and grandbaby.

fantastic findw! not quite hunted out, i'd say ! great buttons!

I love those "hunted out" spots. You're doing great. The spur is civil war but I believe it is a civilian spur. It's not standard US issue though.

Sweet finds! That place..hunted out :laughing7: yea right!

keep'em swingin! and HH

Great tally for a few hunts. Its still out there for sure. What are you thinking on the train?? Does it have a number associated with it? My relatives ran trains during the civil war around your area.
The south was pretty poor so if you had a horse and your own spurs you were mounted.
Thanks for sharin and good luck in your hunts.

Big H. E. L. L. O. from Pulaski! Looks like you are tearing up some Huntsvegas! Congrats!

I'd love a site like that. CW cavalry buttons and a spur... that'd be a great display. Nice work! BTW, the second-to-last picture (the black eagle button) looks WWI vintage.

Looks like a little Cavalry camp you're on. Nice spur

awesome digs......nice confederate finds.......better than i've found in alabama.
