Broke my Ace 350 screen and won a Whites Quantum XT a week later. After having a buddy set me up we took it for a spin. Pretty happy with it considering its a machine from the late 90s! Just need a DD coil to hit deeper targets.
Had a good time with friends on New Year's Eve. Lots of trash to pick through so the small coil was beneficial in that aspect. I ended up cleaning my "trash" pieces to find some cool keepers! One was a funky looking washer that turned out to be a good luck token (maybe a coin was inside) and the other was the top to an old harmonica! Also found what looks like a chewing tobacco lid? I think the dice are possibly clay. 20181231_192734.webp20181231_192750.webp20181231_211148.webp20181231_192758.webp

Those are some cool finds looks like an old spot. Try calling Garrett they might send you a new screen with instructions on how to replace it. / They did that for me with my AT PRO

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

dude, its a sign. Better keep that thing, you will never go broke. Pretty darn cool.

That would be nice, but last time I called to get a new button for my pinpointer garret said no, I would have to pay shipping and handling and cost to repair since it was no longer under warranty. I would like to repair believe me but I'd rather just pay for the part and fix it myself like most of us would

Haha I wonder if the previous owner went broke and that's why it's missing the penny from the center!
