Sri Lanka or ancient India coin?

Need experts to help with this coin. I was thinking it may be 13-14th century Ceylon coin but now I am leaning toward an India coin because of horizontal lines.

Coin is bronze and size of nickel.

best match I could find is british influence on india copper PICE
2300 g. copper
mint: Murshidabad
obverse: Trisul (trident) symbol, Persian inscription,
Falus, Shah Alam II
Reverse: inscription with value in Persian and Hindi, Persian mint name
Edge plain size varies 22-26 mm, thick letters varieties exist.
Date: ND //37 value g-$.75 vg- $2.00 f-$3.00 xf-$10.00

There is also a small coin 1500 g. listed but the pics are a hair different.

With your information I was able to find a coin almost exactly like mine.

The only difference seems to be size. Mine is 21mm and the one I found is 24mm but the details are almost identical.
