Hi all, a Detecting Club I'm in here in Oklahoma made a road trip to St Louis this weekend, and what a trip. The Parks to the Historical Architecture of the homes left us in awe, everything was so Beautiful, and OLD! Most Parks were so well manicured, and most areas we hunted looked like something out of a Home & Garden Magazine.....and the Homes? Well, just plain breath taking to say the least.
Even though everyone didn't score, a few of us did. I had a great time on our Road trip and after a dismal Friday Hunt with nothing but 4 wheat's to show for my effort, Saturday came up Big! I nailed down 5 Silver with 4 Dimes (3 Mercs), 2 Wheat's and a Beautiful 1920 "D" SLQ about 8 1/2 inches deep. The trip was a great one and after a day of digging tons of deep clad and 4 Wheat's we finally hit a Park where I was able to get to work with my Etrac
.
Here are a few pictures of our trip.... and my finds, and to all of those that made the trip... had an awesome time guys and it was awesome getting to hunt & hang with ya, DirtDiga
