Load up a picture when it arrives Jay In NewKen.

Jay, unless you are digging heavy gravels, I would have recommend looking into an aluminum scoop.
I have a stainless 40+". It's gets heavy after a while and I got one of the lightest ones.
I will soon be buying an aluminum scoop. I don't use one enough to wear it down in a lifetime.

Most of the streams and rivers here in western pa are gravel (rocky bottom). I figured to get a better scoop especially for the price. I saw the aluminum ones, but figured i'd get one eventually since they cost less. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Yeah, you made the right choice.

It finally arrived. Looking forward to giving her a try. Got some swimming holes that need hit.
