Stamp printer and blowtorch?

Found these today at a dump and my dad wants to scrap the brass thing and cut the iron thing to see if it has a stamp on it. Anyways if anyone could help me figure out what these are I would appreciate it.

They are cool.......just not worth much in their present condition. Throw them on E-bay and see what they're worth. You/we might be surprised!
