Found this at a sight with which i have found black glass and square nails. But also 2 wheats from 1936... so a lot of possible age on this thing. It appears to of gone to a ring, this is a raised wax seal ring? the design is the cameo of someone, if you can figure out whom of, let me know. It appears to be made of copper possibly.

Neat find. Reminds me of a Gladiator helmet he is wearing.

In my past research, I have found that most wax seal stamps, whether stone or metal, are engraved so that the resulting wax imprint is raised; however, there are raised stamp designs that are crafted to leave a combination of raised and indented imprints. This could easily be one of those, and it could very well have been a ring at one time judging from the solder points on the back. Congrats on a nice find.

I think it may be an art nouveau cufflink with a very ugly girl.
