Today I was hunting a neighborhood where several older homes are being torn down. A demolition crew gave me the nod to hunt the site before they begin. I spent about 2 hours griding the front yard area and recovered over 80 coins; including 18 wheat pennies. But my best find of the day was located in the last 15 foot section of the yard. My AT Pro showed a VDI of 90. Raising the coil indicated that it was not a shallow crushed can. Digging down just a few inches; in between two tree roots was this beautiful 1943 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. A nice way to end a hunt!
