I decided to check out some woods near my work because it was easy digging compared to what I've been dealing with elsewhere with the frozen ground. I started getting some older penny's which was a good sign and then a 1936 penny which was a real good sign. I slowed down and then got a perfect quarter hit. I was psyched when I saw a standing liberty quarter pop out. The date is real hard to see but in person I can just make out 1923. To bad those older dug raised date ones are almost always worn down. I also ended up with a 1965 silver Canadian dime before I left. For this time of year and conditions I'm very happy with two silvers in one short hunt. Looks like I'll be spending a bit more time in those woods after work more often. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]
