Hello everyone!

I took another extended lunch today and did some detecting downtown Eugene Oregon! The weather started out kinda cold & foggy today, but it turned out real nice & sunny (still kinda cold thougth). One of the first target of the day was a strong +88 VDI reading at 4 inches deep on my XLT ~ I was half expecting a silver quarter ~ I dug down and found a 1947-S Wheat cent . . . . . kinda cool, but not quite what I had in mind for a +88 VDI so I rechecked the hole . . . . . sure enough, out pops a dateless Standing Liberty Quarter! The thing was very worn before it was dropped! Then just a few yards away I dug a 1953-S Rosie Dime! I also dug 5 or 6 wheat cents ~ none very old ~ all 1940's & 1950's. Oh yeah, also a 1950 10c from Hong Kong!

I took pic's of the silver coins before and after I gave them a bath! These are my silver coin finds #91 & #92 for the year! Only 8 more to go to hit my 100 silver goal!

Thanks for looking!
