Been hunting a little park here in Phoenix and have dug 3 silver dimes but today I got my 2nd standing liberty quarter ever. Dug a few other items also. I look at everyones finds with envy as Arizona is such a young state compared to the east coast. We were last to become a state except for Alaska & Hawaii. Thanks for looking.

Statehood is semi irrelevant as there are 400 years of history there. Try detecting Washington and Oregon, where the history only goes back to the 1830s. Population to the 1850s, and significant population and transportation to the late 1890s. We have slim pickin's here at times and finding any silver is a great day. I will be in Phoenix in a month or so and will bring my gear. I may get some time in the evenings when not working to swing a coil.

The Standing Liberty is in real Good shape
Nice finds

Nice looking standing Liberty, there might be more sliver in the east but I know there is more gold in Arizona, I would love to live there and do some prospecting :angry5: Congrats on the sliver.

super nice quarter :headbang:

Nice finds... Congrats :icon_thumright:

Boy that standing liberty sure came out nice:) Nice finds!

Very nice SL quarter, you have almost all of the stars on the shield. Cant wait til i find one. Your coin that says san francisco 1915 reminds me of a coin i recently found. I just posted a picture of it in todays finds. My coin is from the Panama Pacific International Exposition, which took place in San Francisco in 1915. The one i have is from louisiana, and isnt like yours, but it does say San Francisco 1915 on it. The one i have is bronze.
Nice finds

That is a nice one to.

They are tough to come by. In the NE they are much easier to find.
