Started Pounding the Woods again after work.

Weather has gotten better the passed week allowing me to get out three times. My hunting partner went for three hours the first evening and I found a hot spot beside a small creek a 20 square yard area I pulled eighteen dropped three ringers some brass cartridges some damaged and one Spencer intact. I went back two other times for a couple hours each time and I hunted some areas I would not normally hunt you know that area by the road and places you just assume everyone has hunted already found a shell burst it had some frags and canister shot and grape shot. I loved finding a Enfield with rosewood plug also a Sharps carbine machine made with the teat in the base. I'm looking forward to this weekend.

Be careful, that rosewood plug will shrink as it dries and fall out.

Great hunts Henley. That must have been a lot of fun digging up all of those bullets and artifacts, especially in places you thought had already been pounded. HH
