So... After messing with the ace 400 I have decided to return it. Why? Don't believe any video or website that shows you can use it in the wet sand. Sure I can descrim but the false signals I was getting were from 35-49. That is the range of gold. I live in Florida and I am limiting myself if the low tide surf is off limits to me... So for a few dollars more I have a nox 600 coming on Saturday! You will see me at the beach Sunday morning! Damn I am excited! :hello2:

Now that's a game changing decision! Good Luck!

I do not have a Nox my self but I have heard some great things about it.

Just try not to kick your self too bad after using the Nox; there is not comparison between those two.

Good choice of machines. Good luck.

Sounds like your ready for your new upgrade! Have fun and keep us posted on how you like it in dry sand, wet sand, in water

You are going to love it!

That should do the trick. I used a Tesoro Cibola on the wet sand and in the salt water, but had to detune it somewhat. You won't have to do that with an Equinox.

Think you will be pleasantly surprised, good decision

Night and day. You won’t be disappointed

Got here this morning. Charging now... Hitting the beach bright and early tomorrow morning. Well that and my back yard this afternoon.

DO NOT tweak any settings for now. Use the machine for a few days before you mess with it. Those presets are there for a reason.

Good Luck on the new machine...may Gold find your coil! :occasion14:
