Got out around the Monterrey area in California. Enjoyed the cool ocean breeze was nice compared to the hot central valley. Detected some of the beaches never expect much from these cold beaches but I enjoy the cool air and ocean so I just tell myself to enjoy just being out there as I detect. Mostly cleaned the beach but did pull a nice silver chain change and odds and ends. It was a relaxing day so regardless I was happy.

Lacking the suspicious peeling that all my found Italy 925 chains have so that’s a good sign. Nicely done 😁
Yeah my last Italian chain before this one was obviously fake. Found one marked as 14k but was obviously not

Nice chain!
Thank you I was happy to get a little silver and end my silver drought been a long while since I've come across silver

Nice work!!!!! I’ve found a few sterling chains the past few trips to the beach, they give a wonky signal but I try to dig everything on the beach

Yes was the same experience for me. A really odd signal not a solid but jumpy signal. I dig all mid and high tone signals beach wise

Me cleaning and shining up the chain. Most silver for some reason I love to clean up and make look nice. Note I know not to clean relics and coins lol.

A peaceful day and silver- adds up to success to me- nice job!
I agree heck the peaceful day was a treasure itself. If I found nothing I told myself to be content with the beautiful day and ocean

A nice silver chain find, I will take a silver chain any day and call the day a success.:headbang:

Very Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

Getting out enjoying a beautiful day is a treasure in itself! Good finds are a nice bonus! Congrats!
Indeed my thoughts exactly. I enjoy the day out there and the silver was a bonus

I have found an old piece of silver a paper thin broach.( An NZ fern leaf) on the beach in Monterey. But that was it out in the sand ,all my good finds were in the playgrounds surrounding the area. Your chain is nice.

I found it like 4 inches in the sand in the dry areas not too far from the water where people like to sit and set up tents and stuff. I realized most people going in the water are in wet suits because it's cold and anyone not in a wet suit doesn't stay in the water long or only puts their feet in. So I stay around where people liked to sit around and watched where the most signs are activity were. The chain was a funky signal and not super strong jumped all over the place so was a nice surprise.
