check up on my brush fires and did a walk along the woods and found my largest sterling ever an a tiny buckle

I bet it's only silverplate...
 
With the picture quality being as it is , how can you suggest it is plated ? I don't see a ton of stuff posted here , with a sterling
mark - that turns out to be plated - OOPS! I stepped right into that !

Looks like you might of found Rod Serling and
not sterling. I am kidding it dose look like milk glass and not silver. My eyes see STEPLING

did a little looking on the net about that mark and apparently that company made a lot of dinner ware for the restaurant industry. the design on the face of that does look like something more to be found in a diner
