I found a large mans what appears to be a class ring of sorts with a TC insignia in the middle of a black field.my question is it says sterling gold inside the band.is this valuable? thanks,bigrig

Naturally the yellow probably 10k and rest silver. The letters TC sounds like some kind of college but no name or year probably puts it in the gold/silver value but worth more than melt value to a class ring collector.
