Sterling Silver and a few interesting finds

Went hunting at an old old place today. First thing I found was this sterling silver buckle. It has a patent date of Jan 28, 1913. It's a simple design. Then I found what appears to be another buckle of some type but it's pretty eaten up and I don't know how old it is. The last two things I found are slightly bigger than a quarter and they were found about 30 feet apart. On the back it looks like there was something attached like for a pin. Don't know what they are really but they have a pretty design.

Thanks guys. Mac I think the items you're talking about are too big to be earrings. Also, they are too heavy. Of course now I am picturing those little old ladies with ear lobes down to their jaw line. LOL

You've got a good site there felinepeachy - those are some good finds , I really like the silver buckle - It should

clean up nicely with a soft cloth some baking soda and warm water . You might well find a merc and a wheaty

at that location. Argentium.
