Sterling silver military race trophy

So my estate hook up strikes again...found this along with a number of sterling and other bits and pieces.

I have found that this was a race and the old Calvary school possibly in Kansas. Any info or advice on how to list or possible starting/asking price would be great thanks guys!

Hmmm...the was a Calvary school and I heard back from my contact and the last name was Balf grandfather of Robert Balf. Will do some more research later today
 

It is Fort Riley, Kansas according to link above.
 

If only I could find the one from 1937 and find or who came in second!
