Well it has been alot of fun the past two days. I have not found but two coins in those two days but one was a 1946 wheatie. I have found 2 toy guns, an old toy car, a pipe with a coupling, spark plugs, rebar, an old Chief Pontiac key chain charm and a few other things. When I can find a computer that will let me upload pictures, I will do so.

almost sounds like our yard, in the past I found part of the outer part of a pocket watch and a Hot Wheel toy, last year I found a believe it's a silver plated ?? belt buckle (magnet does not stick to it). I'm about ready to search the yard again, hope to find some coins...

I have never found one before, but I imagine you will be wanting to turn your discrimination down.

I would also think that tot-lots would be a much better place to look than in old woods.

I am not in the woods but in my yard. I have 6 acres and the lot next to mine used to have a house there. It has been torn down but I think I am finding pieces of it too. My detector said I was pulling up a dime/penny at 2" but I dug down about 8" to pull up a big piece of aluminum siding (I think). That was a pisser LOL.

I don't know much about discrimination or what it is used for.
