we are all rooting for you... you will get some booty soon.

Got your heart pumping didn't it? Keep at it. Hunt areas where people lived or frequented from 1950 and earlier...Not to say that gold or silver, or something else can't pop up any where. It does and can. Good hunt though.......coinage was found:thumbsup:

Keep hunting, location is always key. Law of Average says you will make a silver score sooner or later. Just have to keep at it.

Remember if you find a wheat cent then there is possibly silver around. Sometimes I have had to go to a site a couple of times before I stumble on the silver. Other times, I will find one in a spot that I would have never guessed.

I've been fooled by Canadian coins a couple of times. Seeing that silver-color edge but denied!

im right there with you booty, been puttin in work and no payday yet. the day must come......the day will come.......

When doing parks make sure you get into the bushes were it is hard for others to get to
remember that the bushes may not have been there years ago

Don't worry you'll find silver, when you find it, it will be a great feeling!

It's on it's way! It will be that nice high pitched sweet sound! GL. HH!

keep diging that clad, many times what i thought was clad ended up being silver, ya just never no...

pick a random patch of woods or brush and try that - if near a stream - even better - I always find random silver in the woods...

I actually feel the support from you kind folk. Thanks a million for the tips and sharing of knowledge.

Yep, hang in there. Took me seven months to find my first silver. How long ya been swinging?

I hadn't found a silver Washington in a year of hunting, but finally found one the next hunt after I was being made fun of, although I found a gold wedding band on that hunt. Sometimes things don't make sense.

I will find silver coins 4-5 hunts in a row and then not find any for 5 hunts. It is kind of random. I am going to better my odds this year by spending more time researching old public places such as picnic areas. Essentially, like it was said on one post avoid the "clad areas".

Hang in there!

Kool. I have been hunting for about four months so silver soon right? Looking at some older maps has me really hoping to tap into my cities potential.

I too have not scored any silver yet this year, I'm in a slump. It won't last forever, I'm looking forward to some nice finds. Keep looking and keep digging, it will come.
