This time of year anywhere will do. Round the edges of cropped fields, track ways, grass land or woods. These are finds from the last two sessions. Three hammered silvers, the best a penny of Edward I Canterbury mint 1279-1307. A roman bronze, and a not too common to find 1806 George III farthing. The button is early, and in nice condition, dates to around Tudor times. Robert.

As long you still find a place to swing the coil it's not that bad. If you get hammereds too it's all good! :occasion14:
 

The coins you guys find over there never cease to amaze me. So much history on that side of the pond! Congrats, and thanks for sharing.
