Stone face from northern BC anybody have any ideas?

Like post says have a stone face that was found in hot springs underneath some other rocks and sediment. Was hoping for some ideas or thoughts.

Likely a stone face carving made by one of several tribes of Native American Indians that once occupied or still occupy Northern British Columbia such as the Tsimshian, the Tlingit, the Gitxsan, the Haisla or others.

It looks like it is cast plaster with sand over it. Is that flaking on the tip of the nose with white under it?
