Stone fence rows

Is it worth detecting the stone fence row behind my house. It runs throughout mature hardwoods so I'm guessing it's pretty old. Ever have any luck on these?

Yes, yes, and YES! You never know what you will find, people used to hide caches in stone fences, and sit on them, things fallout of pockets! Go for it!

Def! You could give it a shot, I think you'll find something- even if its just old horse shoes or other relic on the lesser value side..... It's still interesting- or it would be to me anyway?!?!
