stone relics and gold

Hi all, I have not been out much due to work but I did get to the beach this weekend . I hunted about 12 hours total with gold at the start of the hunt and at the end. The beach was sanded in but keeping at it paid off.
Before the hunt I waited for low tide and I just walked the beach. I picked up about 30 nice sea shells to send to the kids and as I was looking I spied a carved stone which I assume is a fishing or a net weight of some kind,Pretty cool . Maybe 20 minutes later I picked up a worked stone that you can tell was used to start fire . There are 5 holes from friction and part of the stone is blackened from the heat.
Over all , a good weekend even though I hoped for more gold the stone artifacts made the hunt.
